Based in Tucson, Arizona, Brazos Geotech, Inc. (BGI) is a responsive and flexible provider of on-site wastewater disposal design and Geotechnical services.  Focusing on small to medium-sized projects, the goal of the firm is to capture clients' repeat business by providing the best value. 

BGI will work toward providing only the most cost-effective septic system designs for sites with varying degrees of complexity.

Geotechnical investigations ad value to projects by reducing the degree of conservatism in the structural design of foundations.  This occurs because the geotechnical specialist has the best understanding of site conditions and can reduce costs by providing recommendations to suit a particular site.  Compaction testing of soils provides some degree of assurance that a building pad has been properly constructed.  

An advantage of considering BGI for your custom home projects is the unique ability of the firm to bundle the septic design, soil report, and compaction testing.  This will help to keeps costs down and will simplify the process by having fewer companies to deal with. 
 
Owner's Education and Experience

BGI is a fully-insured corporation.  The founder's education consists of Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Geological Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and an MBA from Texas A&M University.  

Since the formation of BGI in 2003, the firm has designed hundreds of septic systems throughout Pima and other counties in Arizona. Numerous geotechnical investigations and compaction testing projects have been completed, with an emphasis on residential projects.

The founder's previous work experience includes eight years as a geotechnical and environmental project manager for a consulting firm in Yuma, Arizona.  During this period of employment, he completed a large number of geotechnical soil investigations and environmental assessments for public and private clients.
